Healthcare Program Project Manager (Family-Centered Care Development)

The Healthcare Program Project Manager is responsible for creating and implementing projects to promote the Family-Centered Care (FCC) approach among the medical community and society to transform our country’s healthcare system toward family-centeredness.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring the successful implementation of the foundation’s strategy for developing FCC principles among the medical community and society. Participating in strategic planning for future periods.
  2. Planning, developing, monitoring, and ensuring the effective implementation of projects and activities aimed at FCC development:
    • developing FCC standards and facilitating their implementation in government decrees and regulatory documents;
    • pilot projects for FCC development in hospitals;
    • annual national FCC conferences;
    • training programs for doctors and medical students;
    • FCC research among the medical community and families with sick children, and others.
  1. Interacting with the Ministry of Health, the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU), and other government authorities, as well as non-governmental organizations in the healthcare sector, to establish partnerships for the successful implementation of the foundation’s projects.
  2. Ensuring the involvement of experts and partners in project implementation, coordinating work, and maintaining effective communication with them.
  3. Developing and maintaining effective cooperation with project beneficiaries and all stakeholders.
  4. Identifying new opportunities and directions for FCC development in Ukraine.
  5. Facilitating the foundation’s participation in specialized healthcare events to highlight FCC issues.
  6. Creating information materials to showcase FCC projects on information resources.
  7. Supporting the foundation’s fundraising efforts, including specialized assistance in drafting grant applications to attract funding for FCC projects.
  8. Performing other relevant duties necessary for the successful implementation of the foundation’s programs.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in healthcare project management, strategic planning, team management, and cooperation with government agencies, including experience in managerial positions.
  2. A strong manager capable of developing and managing national-level projects.
  3. Medical degree or education in public relations/communications, management, social work, or related fields is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of public relations and government relations principles, and communication principles with press, radio, and television representatives. Experience working with international organizations is an advantage.
  5. High proficiency in Ukrainian and English, with excellent analytical, organizational, and reasoning skills.
  6. A leader capable of motivating and inspiring.
