The first Ronald McDonald House in Ukraine will be built on the grounds of the country’s largest children’s hospital, Okhmatdyt, spanning 3,500 square meters with 50 private rooms. The program requires $10 million to implement.
You can become a partner of the Ronald McDonald House and contribute to creating individual bedrooms or common areas.
This program will allow seriously ill children to live with their parents in comfort on hospital grounds for as long as needed, and help families—financially exhausted by their child’s prolonged illness—save on accommodation and meals.
Families always use the Family Rooms free of charge. However, their maintenance (rent, utilities, salaries of administrators who ensure comfort, cleanliness, and safety 24/7) costs — 9,000,000 UAH annually.
